You know I could very easily make this a very long column because I have so much to say about Judgment Day and Raw, but this time I will keep my pay per view thoughts to a minimum and spend most of this column on Raw and Mr. William Regal’s suspension, talk about the suspension catching me off guard. | Raw rocked from beginning to end. I don’t think I’m going to bitch about one thing in this column. Well I do have a few very minor things that I might have questioned, but really the show was so good. And I have to say I think the show did a very good job hyping Sunday’s Judgment Day. | Wow is Raw getting it. I’m staring to wonder what I was watching because I really liked the show. It had kind of big show feeling last night. There were a few cameos and the King of WWE again delivered and the show for me just had a good feel to it. | Woo I really liked last night’s Smackdown; we got another very good show. Here in Chicago we didn’t get it until 11:30, but it was well worth the wait, the show was filled with solid wrestling. So I’m guessing this was shock week in the WWE. Raw ended abruptly, Tazz and Mike Adamle walked out during the ECW main event and last night the World Champion was stripped of that title. | Okay I give; I ordered the Backlash encore when I read that Hunter won. Hey I never saw that coming and let me tell you I thought Backlash was an excellent show, and I am SO glad that I bought it. I know I was extremely down about the show but this really was one of WWE’s best pay per views, and everything worked with the exception of one miserable match. | It’s not often when I let a WWE pay per view slide, but that’s just what I’m going to do tonight. There are more things on this show that I don’t care to see than I do care to see. In fact I think that the only match that interests me is Shawn Michaels vs. Batista with Chris Jericho as the special guest ref. | See what a trip overseas can do for Raw. What an improvement from last week’s show. Not only did I like the show a lot, but it seems like most of you guys did too. This week’s Smackdown was quite entertaining as well as quite interesting. I would have to give this show thumbs up for a change. That’s not to say that I was happy with everything that we got but all in all Smackdown was a pretty good show.
